Hey all! I am headed off to Paris this upcoming weekend and I would really like to do some soul 45 record shopping! It would be great if someone could let me know if you know of any good soul record shops in Paris I could check out while I am there? Any and all help would be appreciated!

Dont know bout 45s but there is a shop La Dame Blanche great for soul LPs - (i got some fab Lou Rawls for 4euro) cant remember the street but its the one which goes down from The Pantheon through Rue des Ecoles in the latin quarter. There is another record shop Crocojazz, opposite mainly jazz but other allsorts.

Best choice for reasonable priced soul singles and albums is a big collector's place in Rue des Taillandiers,

metro station Bastille will take you there. I don't know the name of the place but it is in the same street where another recordshop called Techno Import is located.

take a lot of cash as Paris is quite expensive if you hunt for vinyl
