I thought I'd post up a few items from my private sales list here, since the current one contains more northern etc than normal. If you'd like to sign up for the emails, please drop me a line on ruralconcourse@yahoo.com.
thanks,
George
To order: please email ruralconcourse@yahoo.com
Grading: UK Record Collector system - M- / EX / VG+ / VG / VG- etc.
Postage: quoted on request (I'm in Sweden but can also ship from the USA next week). Most of these will need to be sent recorded / registered.
Charles Johnson: Never Had A Love So Good (Alston) VG+ demo £175
Clarence Townsend: I Found A New Love (Clara) VG, plays perfectly - offers
Incredible dancer with awesome vocals from Greenville, Mississippi (presumably out of the same stable as Vikki Styles etc). Current high offer is £1000, and I'll keep it open for the next few days so people have a chance to see it.
Bojack Thomas: Hear Me Now Baby / Let Me Take You On A Rainbow (Kojack) EX £200
Gorgeous modern / 70s soul obscurity. Hear Me Now Baby is actually part 2 under another name, by which time it has transformed into an absolutely beautiful groove, but the flip (which has a couple of X’s on the label) certainly has its merits as well. The few copies that have turned up for sale certainly weren’t nice and clean like this.
