8. More Love That's All We Need - THE GOSPEL CLASSICS (Checker)..............VG++.......uplifting  Northern dancer for all who've got soul in them, who can't use more love these days?.....................£130

9. You Don't Love Me No More / I'm Hip To Your Game - RENALDO DOMINO (Smash).............£30

10. If You Go / Count To Ten - DEREK MARTIN (Sue).....................top play at The Twisted Wheel, brilliant Northern that's stood the test of time............been calling up the dancers since 1966............£45

11. Here Come The Tears - GENE CHANDLER (Constellation demo)................beat ballad..............Mint-..............£15

12. Don'tcha Get No Money / You Ain't Changed - MARIE FRANKLIN (yellow UK MGM, 1968)........Mint-.........superb gritty Northern Soul dancer with Millie Jackson/Tina Turner-style growly vocals, gonna sound great spun out. On top of that you've got a brilliant Northern funk flip that's the twin of "It's Your Thing" and we know how many great versions of THAT there's been. So, yeah, I recommend this UK gem whole-heartedly!!..............................£20

13. Ain't Gonna Let It Get Me Down - GAYLE HARRIS (DCP demo)..........well sung, nicely arranged Northern Soul Beat Ballad, touch of the Dusty Springfield about it but a genuine soul vocalist.......Mint-................£45

14. Seven Day Lover - JAMES FOUNTAIN (Cream)............Mint-.......................£20

15. Sly Girl - DEREK MARTIN (Tuba).............BRILLIANT, one of the best low-pricers I've EVER heard and definitely equal to just about any title in the Price Guides music-wise; rest assured though there'll come a day when this pearler turns into a rarity and the asking price will, inevitably,  soar

............................................Mint-.....£25..............************PICK OF THE LIST********

16. Love Bandit / Pretty Girl - THE CHI-LITES (UK Beacon white demo).....1969 release...........VG++..................£95

17. Long After Tonight Is All Over - JIMMY RADCLIFFE (UK Stateside, i964 release)...........VG++......first 60's UK release for this Northern Soul Classic.............£30

18. What Can A Man Do - BEN E. KING (Atco)..........Mint-..............I strongly recommended to you this lovely Northern/R&B dancer that is very closely related to Ben's "I Can't Break The News To Myself", like one and love the other, like peas in a pod they are...............£30

19. If You Want The Love - SONNY KNIGHT (Aura).............R&B/Popcorn territory for this one, no disgrace in this genre being aired but, yet, not everyone's cup of tea. For afficionados though, you've walked into a winner................£20

20. If It Wasn't For Love - JIMMY BEE (20th Century)...........Mint-..............strong, strong Northern dancer with shades of the wicked Pickett in vocal delivery, all-action soul with that Memphis muscle tone.........£65

21. You Don't Love Me - THE REFLECTIONS (Went)............Mint-......probably a different Reflections from the Golden World combo as the singing here is similar to the Chicago group known as The Esquires, solid Northern Soul backing all through...............£85

22. Soul Ain't You Thrilled - THE ORIENTALS (New Dawn)...........Mint-................solid Northern beat backing with sweet soul vocals influenced mostly by The Impressions, imagine that group being on Chess and that is the great fantasy of sound you get here....................£55

23. Crying Heart / Standing Here Crying - THE INCREDIBLES (Audio Arts)............VG++.................£50

Many thanks for looking at the list, keep loving your vinyl,

Cheers, Carl (Beatin' Rhythm).
