Reminiscing recently about the first time I and a mate went to the US (1977), we were going to get in a few record warehouses and come back loaded with vinyl.
Oh how little we knew, ie going to LA and neither of us could drive .
On the day before we came home we found a "record warehouse" on W Pico Boulevard, went to the counter and was told "Trade only, you have business card you can come in" If we had another day we could have had one printed, came back with about 50,45s (Hank Jacobs, Elijah x2 etc).
Did you get in one, did you have to blag your way in? What did you find?
