Hi,

I'm trying to find out a little more info about the producer Style Wooten, and his Memphis labels, Designer (gospel), Camaro (country/rockabilly) and Styleway (funk). I know this sounds more like a southern soul topic, but if it helps, I know Style Wooten also produced some Detroit gospel groups!

Any info would be appreciated!

I can help a lot on labels owned by STYLE WOOTEN such as DESIGNER, CAMARO, ALLANDALE, STYLE, MAJESTY, etc. These labels form a small part of my Columbia Custom "NASHVILLE" record research.

designer is now owned by a mississippi label called big legal mess, distributed by fat possum. they've released 3 vinyl reissues so far - https://www.biglegalmessrecords.com
