Here's the 55th installment of The Divine Chord Gospel Show which appears monthly on dublab.com, broadcast on 27th January 2016.

 

Welcome along to the DCGS Best of 2015 recap....a selection of heater cuts that proved to ignite many a club session I played around Europe & the US over the last 12 months.

Heavy hitting funk cuts from Chicago, Boston, Texas, LA....safe to say this episode went coast to coast. Huge future club classics by the Soul Lifters & the Dynamic Imperious as well as brand new, incredible music from Eli 'Paperboy' Reed.

Then, we launch into modern soul territory, kicking things off with the hard boogie funk of Ronald Jerry. Watch out for the crossover beauty that is the Gigantic Overland Travelers, followed by the vicious modern cut by Bishop Croom. The ender by the Testimonial Singers is a whole 'nother beast! Big shouts to the NYC Downlow crew with the Don Degrate monster too!
