Dear All,

Hi and welcome to the first list of 2016!

A nice and varied selection for this list including a bunch of classic northern soul dance 45's, modern obscurities, ballads, disco twelves and modern soul albums. Some of the highlights below.

Modern soul - Aged in Harmony "Trust me", Mascara "It's cool" (45 is Japan only), T.M.S. "Get the feelin'", Higher Feelings withdraw Kent 45 (apparently the third known copy), Sisters Love club classic "Give me your love" and a bunch of rare and great major label releases from Roy Ayers, Randy Jackson, Ben E. King, Charisma Band, Billy Proctor and more.

Northern & Crossover - Bobby Wilburn ultra rare Gamble issue, Sound-Masters, Tan Geers, Eric Lomax, Darrow Fletcher "What have I got now", Patti & the Emblems "I'm gonna love you a long, long time", Monticellos "Plaid stamps".

There's a few real nice 45 with slowies by groups and artists like Emulations, Vanguards, Ghetto Friendship, Willie Hobbs & Billy McGregor.

Album and 12 inch highlights includes - GT's on Jed (incl album only dancer "Keep the love you got", Rick Sheppard, Chas, Reggie S (first press with proper cover), Park Avenue on the Sunshine label, Tommy McGee EP, Lee Staton's epic ballad "Ain't love funny that way", Potion (with the mellow groover "You can make it girl") and boogie/disco from Lee Moore, Mystic Merlin, Escorts, Kinky Foxx, Freedom etc.

For those who prefer their music free I have been busy putting together a couple of mixes. One for Mark Gurney's Independent Movement website featuring independent label modern soul, both dancers and slower stuff. Click here for link.

For the Record Mania blog I've made a mix featuring the sound developed by Lamont Dozier and his associates post Motown/Invictus. Link here.

And last but not least a mix of two step/mellow groove only previously shared on the FB group 2 Step Heaven (feel free to join!).

Info about payment, grading, shipping costs etc after the listings. I require paypal payments over £150 as gift (or add 4% to the total) to cover paypal fees.

Best Regards, Karl

Gradings

NM – spotless record. One grading I don’t really use – one tiny mark/scuff/flame/scratch and it’s EX. Many new records will not make this grade.
EX – Basically everything that will look and play great.
VG+ – Will have marks that may very moderately affect play. Might have fairly large amount cosmetic marks not affecting play.
VG – Lots of marks, should still play fairly well but not perfect.
VG- – Lots and lots of marks, see description on how it plays.
