It appears that its over three years since Adrian Corbin's (The Big AC) mostly northern soul show on Radio Uckfield FM was last mentioned on this site. There have been some exciting changes as its now three hours every Monday evening from 18.00 - 21.00 hrs. It's now available as an internet station and as a consequence is the most listened show on the station with regulars across the globe and from Croydon - where I was last Monday.
There's been some special shows such as a 'Reggae got soul' edition or 'The Whispers 'edition. There are also some great guests with most of the local soul DJs and soul supporters appearing regularly. These have included: Maxine Woon, Keith Woon, John Lias, Darren Lambert, the great John Ridley who did a deep special and Manus Doherty, the latter showing what magnificent taste he has. Generally the guests make their own choices.
The Big AC has managed to keep this show going for years so try and tune in every Monday evening. I am a big fan.
