St Andrews (Andys) youth club and hello

Hi everyone, 

Im new on here and only rediscovered my Northern roots in the last couple of years, so my northern upbringing probably wasn't like most people's, I discovered the sound at a youth club namely St Andrews methodist church on Huddersfield Rd in Halifax between 1979 -82 (14-17) does anyone remember this and did you also discover northern soul here

i am from Halifax , did go to st Andrews youth club late 60,s early 70,s , but discovered N.S @ tiff,s Monday night 1973 aged 15 , welcome .
