Just a periodic shout out / reminder to any potential or actual authors (whether self publishing or using traditional publishing houses) of soul, R&B or blues related literature :

A Nickel And A Nail is a specialist independent mail order UK based bookstore, always on the look-out for new or established authors of soul and blues historical reference or northern / popcorn scene related texts. As well as being a platform for sales, we invite reviews of new books, chapter abstracts and author-written summaries of their work which all help promote their product.

Away from the business end of things though, as a self publishing author of a few books myself, I am happy to give any general advice I can or share my experiences (good and bad), just get in touch. I'm also interested in connecting with anyone who maybe has an idea about a genre-related topic but who are just starting out on their first writing journey.
