ROY HANDY: Accidental Love / What Did He Do? * MARTON, VG++, 250.- Euro
Detroit soul rarity, that never pops up for sale. During George Clinton's time as a songwriter for Motown he teamed up with Joe Martin, Motown's distributor for Newark, to run a the short lived Marton label. He put some money in his hands to cut two magnificient sides with his buddy Roy Handy, better known for his iconic "Baby That's A Groove" 45 on Stephanye. Both sides are totally underplayed due to the rarity of this disc and it surely will be a long time since you see another copy for sale.
