whilst putting on me jeans this morning (really) and listening to a couple of soul tracks as i was getting ready - it dawned on me that if i had a soul penpal, he could send me four soul tracks a week, and i could send him/her four tracks a week. then we could exchange another email the following week, reviewing each other's four tracks, and getting four more each.

If, like me, you are a bit lazy in seeking out new stuff (i'm the world's worst) it'd be a great way to introduce yourself to someone else's tastes, a few new tracks, a different perspective.

People could send mp3s, or links to soulclub.org or the player on this site too.

I'd also recommend a time period of say 3 months (with the option of course of carrying on) - wouldn't wanna get lumbered like :thumbsup:

What do people think? good idea? i think so, and on that note, who wants to be me soul penpal?
