I believe that Ms Staton remembers recording it in a studio in Chicago. It would have been in the early to mid-eighties probably. Of course it wouldn't have been titled "You got the love", it probably has something like "sort yourself out you fat bastard" written on the tape label. Sorry if that sounds a bit harshly cruel, but the story is that the model for the video (Big Ron) had to have the door frame removed from his apartment so they could get him out to do the filming!
