Eugene Gaspard – Holding on – Rosemont / EX / £150 (Moody, atmospheric New Orleans dancer. Vinyl is clean but label has wear on the “Holding on”-side and wear plus stain on the flip.)
Bert Barnett & Columbia – Joy in my life – Super Sonic / VG+ / £100 (Superb two step which really takes off in the later part of song. Instrumental version is stunning too! Vinyl has a few light marks, plays well but not perfect. Below link is made from the actual copy for sale.)

Sam Dees – Tag tag tag – Kent Soul / EX / £15 (The original to the Bill Brandon song, previously unissued and first time on a Kent CD, then this unofficial release and finally a 45 release on the Diggin’ Deep label earlier this year.)

Edward Hamilton & The Fifes – Call me / I’m gonna love you – Jameco / EX / £140 (Two amazing sides of Detroit soul from one of the best eras in music ever. Nice copy but the labels has a couple of issues. “A” and “B” written with ballpoint pen. Artist name on b-side has been scratched out.)
Clydie King – Only the guilty cry / By now – Philips / EX / £125 (Two very nice NS sides on a rare major label release. Labels has cut out hole and“By now” side has a little birro and sticker residue.)

Frederick – (You’re the best) That ever happened – Silhouette / S/S / £25 (Still sealed copy of this 2 step killer. I used it on my most recent Mixcloud mix, and you can use it to blow the socks off people. Did I hear somebody shout “reeeeewind!”?)

Dance tracks in “Why don’t you let me know” and the title track and midtempo/two step tracks in “Who you gonna get” and “Groovin’ in the nightclub”. Front cover has large signed dedication.)
V/A – Brief Encounter with sweet soul music – P-Vine / EX/EX / £110 (Japanese compilation with great cuts from Brief Encounter, Imperial Wonders, Allison and Continental Showstoppers. Main interest here is the stunning sweet soul ballad “Where will I go” only available here. Superior stripped down version, came out last year on a 7 inch with added production. Great copy complete with OBI and insert.)
