March 1, 20205 yr interesting stuff, so soul music/motown, stax etc was pretty much listened to everywhere, what was the 'difference' that kick started full on northern? just the 'unknown' 'raririty' yet 'sounded similar'?
March 2, 20205 yr You can see that several of the Motown chart entries are re releases issued due to the emerging Northern scene and renewed interest in those early Motown tracks originally released a couple of years earlier.
