Thought this was a cool find. Orlando Contreras LP on local Miami Tone Latino label. Some nice soulful melodies and strong backing tracks. I'm fairly versed in latin music and can't say I've heard many Northern soul style tracks actually sung in spanish.
Also last copy of Rafael Solano doing a cover of "I Think I'm Goin Out Of My Head". This clip is a little longer than the previous copy I had, and you can hear the horns come in at the end. Love this one!
A few other soulful odds and ends up like Joe Bataan LP "Singin Some Soul" and some boogaloo like the Kako lp original on Musicor, etc. Please have a look.
