For the Bank Holiday I thought I would do an Old Skool special celebrationg the legacy of Edna Wright (aka Sandy Wynns) who died on 12th September 2020. One of many Tributes I have lined up to go but not had time to record until now.
We journey through her entire catologue although primarily focusing on her own work rather than guest BVs.
Founder and core member of Honey Cone best known for their huge hit 'Want Ads' co-written and produced by her future Husband Greg Perry. However it was first recorded by Glass House featuring Scherrie Payne but to date has never been released. Fortunately we have managed to salvage it and you can hear it for the first time here.
