I thought it would be very appropriate to present 2 overlooked pieces of vinyl from the stunning artists, Pauline Taylor and Kameelah Waheed. Both have a long and strong musical legacy pre-Ramrock and it has been the label's absolute pleasure to release their music. The Pauline Taylor EP is a incredibly emotive 4 track EP with Pauline's stripped vocals riding over her original dark, gospel tinged compositions. The sleeve is reverse board with an inner black paper bag. The cover artwork was a very special gift.....let's just say the artist would want 10K just to pick a pencil up. Kameelah's 'Holding On' is hip house, hip hop - call it what you want - it's just a joyous piece of music.
