On the recent thread about soul britania i thought of this as an idea. you could create your own cd of say double or triple uk soul music of the past what sort of songs would you use. my idea would be to start off with some simple well known songs but also to fill it with some lesser known tracks and it could represent a mix and maybe if a 2nd volume comes out you can experiment

my choices so far would be

Junior - Mama Used to Say

Jimmy James - A Man Like Me

The Real Thing - You To Me Are Everything

The Foundations - Build Me Up a Buttercup

Kenny Thomas - Thinking About Your Love

Craig David - Walking Away

Lemar - If There's Any Justice

Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack

Average White Band - Let's Go Around Again

Imagination - Music and Lights
