Outstanding gospel modern / free soul dancer hipped by the one and only Henning Börm, still not widely known and rare! Spoken intro then whooosh! Signed by lead vocalist Lee Hunt Jr on the flip.
2. Sampy & The Bad Habits - Stick With Me / Lagniappe (Caillier) VG £300
Strong playing copy of this rare and massive dancefloor winner with big demand. Driving Louisiana swamp groove with accordion which works oh so well. A couple light pops, plays better than the grade.
4. Turf Tydell - Poor Me / I Got Her Love (Amjo DJ) VG++ £325 SOLD
Philly monster uptempo dancer backed with a smooth midtempo side, released on two labels and neither are easy to find! DJ copy here, where some enterprising collector tried to mark out the label info in sharpie. X on flip side.
5. El Pooks - I Could Do The Impossible / Trisha (Orivious) G+ £280
Hens teeth rarer than the popular mind melter “Psychedelic Soul” on the same label! One side blistering funky soul for the sweatiest of floors, the other fragile sweet soul collectors candy. Funk side plays far above its grade to my ears, quieter sweet side plays with a bit more crackle that cleans up during play. Seen at $600-800 in recent sales, bargain? PM me for clips of this one.
