4   Lee Charles – Wrong Number b/w Someone Somewhere – Revue E11022 Demo M- £20 mint demo, great catchy mid-tempo dancer, credits include some of the city’s finest & nice mid-pace flip, different to the Brunswick release

7   The Dells – Q-Bop She-Bop b/w A Distant Love – Vee Jay 251 M- £35 hard early label number, ignore the title it’s a great upbeat doo-wop / R & B dancer, mint vinyl copy, tough to find in this condition

8   The Dells – You Belong To Someone Else – Cadet 5563 M- £30 old Sure-Shot spin, big city soul mid-tempo grower, just superb

9   The Dells – It’s All Up To You – Cadet CA5689 M- £35 while the label was floundering along came this superb mid-tempo crossover dancer from these stalwarts, bubbly label but vinyl mint

10 Syl Johnson – I’ve Got To Get Over b/w Falling In Love Again – Tmp-Ting TMP115 M- £20 two great raw mid-tempo sides from this great artist, played in the late 80’s, recommended

11 Syl Johnson – Surrounded b/w Straight Love No Chaser – Zachron X600 M- £35 great double sider, rarer label format  mint copy

12 Syl Johnson – One Way Ticket To Nowhere b/w Kiss By Kiss – Twilight M- £20 fabulous double sider, Jack Daniels & Johnny Moore penned, arranged by Donny Hathaway

19 Gerald Sims formerly of The Daylighters – No Doubt About It – Nike 1019 M- £60 slight label wear vinyl mint, lovely mid-tempo side, hard number from the master of Chicago soul
