Visually VG (numerous lite surface marks and scratches, plays with a little background noise).
The problem is that the record skips during the first few seconds of the instrumental opening before vocals begin. Thereafter playback is consistent with a VG grading. I've checked the 45 with a magnifying glass but can't find any obvious flaw to account for this.
I've added a recording (directly from the 45) which reveals the 'skip' at 8/9 second in.
Top quality copies of this 45 are fetching in excess of £100, if you can live with the flaw make me an offer.
