Does anyone happen to know anything about the singer Sonny Hines?

In particular, where he was from, when he was active, and - I know this is highly unlikely - a photo?

In researching something totally un-soul-music related, I've come across a photo from a Pittsburgh club in the late 50s/early 60s and someone is named in the caption as "Sonny Hines" - it'd be interesting to know if it's the same guy. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a scan to post...
