right couldn't think of a good title but this i feel is my fav thread i made but it's about your fav songs by artists before they got famous (if you know what i mean) like before they got into the UK singles chart they may have scored singles released even if they had some success in US. again they would likely be songs not always everyone knows

Mine is Candi Staton - Now You Gotta The Upper Hand big on the scene but everyone knows her for Young Hearts Run Free or You Got The Love.

Another is Jimmy James - Ain't Too Proud To Beg which we know he wasn't really big in the 60's but by the 70's was popular for the disco soul he made.

Do the Sinceres count? They did "Girl I Love You" on PZAZZ before turning into Bloodstone and hitting it big in the charts!
