Some of you may have heard of Soul101 - maybe if you've been to Soul Essence and seen our ad in the program. I wanted to post an update and do a bit of shameless self promotion for Soul101 - not sure if this sort of thing's allowed or if I'll be moderated off, but I guess we'll soon see! I've been looking for banner exchange info, but I cn't see it anywhere!

Anyway, Soul101 is a legal download site specialising in soul music. It's run by myself and three friends, one in Slough, one in Paris and one in Ireland, all thanks to the beauty of t'internet! It's taken us over three years to get the site ready for launch, and I wanted to let everyone know that we've just loaded the entire CD Baby Soul catalogue, along with other independant labels like Caf De Soul and Chillifunk, ready for download, so please drop by at www.soul101.com or www.soul101.co.uk and take a look.

On another note, we're pretty much at the end of our finances after three years of jumping through hoops to launch, so I'd also like to offer an opportunity to the soul crowd. We're looking for investors, partners...anyone who can help to keep soul101 running. Anyone who can offer marketing advice would be very very welcome right now! If you think you can help and you're interested you can reach me at russ@soul101.com or info@soul101.com.
