Just speaking to a contact in the U.S.

Rumor has that an English collector has just acquired Timmy Carr Workin on KEE??? for the pricely sum of $6,000. One of only 3 copies or something??

Must be rare, I've never heard it out. He reckon its killer northern. Anyone know it then??? Which DJs have it? Wouldn't mind a sound byte.

Isn't Tim Brown in the States at the moment???

Imagine a monotonous dirge with some bloke shouting ''working''

occasionally and that's about it! As usual, if it wasn't rare you wouldn't be paying it any attention or parting with a fiver for a copy. Now 'ain't got no time' is a different story!!

Doesn't surprise me.. its a very very rare records, and a very good tune IMO. A traditional Northern Dancer that just catches that raw edge. Doesn't get played enough, don't know who has them though.

this is a less expensive way to get hold of it...

KELL OSBOURNE - LAW AGAINST A HEARTBREAKER / TIMMY CARR - WORKIN - ACETATE EX £40

This must have been the copy that was on Ebay about 2 weeks ago, had a reserve of $5000 then disappeared after about 3 days, the other thing I remember about it was that the seller had very little feedback.
