Free Cd Burner Software?

Due to a recent PC crash I can't access my old CD burner/ripper/etc. program that came with the CD burner. I have been thinking of getting another one anyway so I wonder if anyone have any recommendations of a good allround (that can burn, rip, etc. so I don't have to more than one) free downloadable program? There are loads on the internet, but if anyone know of a good one I might as well get that.
