I host a record fair in Minneapolis-St. Paul, USA we hold every other month.
I've been wanting to do a Northern Soul/soul feature at some point in the near future (perhaps the week before the Goldsoul event in Chicago in 2009, perhaps?)
I know there are a lot of cities in the States that have a reasonably active soul scene, e.g., Seattle, etc., but not sure what the interest is here.
Has anyone had experience doing this type of thing at a record fair in Europe/UK/Ireland, and if so, what has their experience been?
It'd be great to have someone like Reg do a book signing or something.
