Crossover Soul Funk - Black Smoke Band - Ill Keep Searc
I've got a copy of Little Jimmy Scott - It Rained 40 Days & Night - Giant.
Before anyone gets too excited....the condition is poor (full description coming!), however it (amazingly) plays OK.
Label: Not too bad, name on each side, sticker on flip, a bit worn and slightly faded in places.
Vinyl (well, styrene actually): OK I'll start with the obvious...it's cracked from edge to middle and has been taped on reverse, there is also a small hairline crack from edge to about 2cm in. Styrene looks like it has been polished, no gloss at all on it although very scratches as well!
Audio: After looking at the record you just would not believe how well this plays! I will post a full sound clip taken straight off this 45 in my next post. Here comes the old saying 'Great for DJing'.
Overall it's looks like a bag of **** and isn't going to take pride of place in a collection BUT if you want this to DJ with then it plays well and it'll work out a lot cheaper than a minty one!
Got this up for trades as I can't bring myself to asking for money for it! Will consider anything but would prefer 70s stuff. Just PM me
