Just of the A1 ---Borobridge turn off--there is a Morrisons on the site now.I went to 2 of them --Soul sam,Al Rhodes,John Manship,Paul Rowan--they ran about 1976--78(i think) the hotel was an old american Motel type thing( think The Bates Motel and you get the picture!!) very down at heel and on it,s last legs----it was actually demolished about 2 yrs later.They also ran Soul Nites there on a Thursday but they only attracted folk from the Northallerton,Thirsk ,Ripon area and only had about 3.

Funny that tony,about 5yrs ago i was building an extension at the college opposite morrisons, and was thinking at the time i`m sure the hotel cottages was round here ps anyone know what happened to DUSTY?
