January 22, 200916 yr If you email BBC Lancashire . I am sure they can give you the contact details for the chap who took the photographs , Francesco Mellina . The photograph of the record bar was interesting - anyone on SS in it ? Malc Burton The second guy in ( next to the white tee shirt) looks like Dave Spencer from Market Harborough ,he used to go everywhere in the late 70's to the mid 80's and was good friends with Adam Buchanan
March 7, 20169 yr I came across this photo of the Wigan record bar some years ago and recognised a few of the faces in the photo. I have numbered them 1. I'm pretty sure is me in the Fred Perry 2. Is definitely Brian (Horace) and 3 is Elaine his wife all of us from Hinckley. This was taken sometime in the early eighties based on the clothes. Brian used to wear Spencer's (denim patchworks) in the late seventies. A mate, recently sent me a photo message with this photo saying that he had seen this photo and thought it was me at Wigan. I can't be 100% that it is me as my face is obscured but it certainly looks like it and the Fred Perry add's weight to it. I used to wear FP's all the time as the factory used to be in Hinckley so they were easy to get hold of.
Dont know if these photos are from a book but great memories nevertheless.
