Help With Record Shops In Liverpool

Hiya, apologies if I am posting in the wrong section. Can someone please advise me on the best record shops in Liverpool for buying cheap or not so cheap northern soul cds? Have a friend going over next week & he's been saving his pocket money & cant be doing with buying 45s.
