Can anyone give me advise?

I sent some money to someone on this site through paypal but the address was wrong(from a friend)so i cancelled the payment straight away.

I then got the correct address and sent the money 5 minutes later and that was confirmed.

I then checked my bank balance today and it had went into the red as the before mentioned payment had been withdrawn from my bank twice.

I contacted the bank and they said i had to contact paypal as it had been withdrawn Twice from paypal.

Paypal　said even though it was cancelled the transaction went through and it takes 10 days for the money to be returned(paid back) into my paypal account,then i can transfer it to my bank account.

How do i send the money back into my bank account as there is only an e mail ot mobile number to send money?

Is having money in your paypal account dangerous as i have read here that people shouldnt send from their paypal account

Also i went into the red through that transaction

what can i do about that?

any info appreciated

To transfer the money into your bank account you have to register your bank account with Paypal, just go into your PP account and enter the details.

On the other hand, you could just leave the money in your PP account ready for the next time you use it. I've never had any problems with this, mind you if I know I have money in the account I tend to spend...

this is typical paypal, once u hit the pay button on the first transaction it had gone instant payment by u (even though u cancelled it 5 mins later it was to late as i said its a instant payment)now paypal will make u wait for the money to make sure u are not trying it on(i know u are not)buts thats the way paypal work they quote ten days but this is probaly the extreme normally 3-5 days however it will go into your paypal account(i think) then u will have to send it to your bank this can also take 3-5 days , paypal is very safe as long as u give nobody your passwords not even paypal will ever ask for them, but they do use the system to their advantage on time delays just think how much interest they earn on all the money they hold for this lenght of time its a fortune, hope this helps and u get it sorted

yes i know the rip off of them getting interest from my money ,even though i cannot use it myself.

Another whammy was it put my bank account into the red ,so i will get charged for that.

I did manage to get a reduction on the sound as i am on the dole,but the time it took talking to paypal from japan nk plus the bank charges from japan has wiped that out.

top oldie though
