Following on from the 'What's The Best Line In A Record?' thread which I really enjoyed,

I was wondering what the most iconic lyrics on the northern scene might be?

By iconic I think I mean that if you heard said lyrics used in some conversation or quote away from the scene, you would immediately connect them back to the soul scene.

Appreciate Frank Wilson might come to mind, but lets give that one a rest.......

Hi Col

Karen is always pulling faces when I take a phrase and start singing a song that contains it.

It didnt take long for her to think my funny little quirk was really and irk so now she just sings

Please Keep Away From Me, when I break into song :D

I remember a boss of mine telling me after a tea-break "Time to get Out on the floor" To which I replied "That's where I get my kicks". He just looked at me funny..........
