2 very nice Detroit 45's, both from household name stables Happy to send sound file on request PM any questions or to reserve Compacts - Why can't it be - Carla 718 Ex- £375 (In-demand sweet tinged crossover, only my 2nd copy, top side has a bit 0f light crackle at the start but improves quickly, the flip "That's how my world began" is VG+h and has more surface marks with some audible pops but still plays through loud and clear. Overall there's a deep gloss to both sides and minor ring wear on the labels, but priced accordingly and lower than the copy sold in Nov last year on this site) Martha Star - I wanna be your girl - Thelma 113 M- £350 (What a woman, from Greenville South Carolina she ended up in Detroit recording 3 stunning 45's on the label, this being the penultimate release. I've seen more "Love is the only solution" for sale in the past few years than this. Vinyl is a conservative excellent plus with deep gloss and rich shine, with hard to see minor light sleeve lines where its gone in and out of its bag. Audibly a lovely copy that plays mint minus. See scans of the 45. Ignore the lines left by the scanner, needs a wipe! Detroit gem for sale. Fellows - She's always there / Let's make it last - Solid Hit 110 M- £400 Reluctant sale but need to make some room. Only seen a handful of these since Mr Manship auctioned one for 400 in 2012, those I have seen have generally been in Vg+ or weaker condition. This stunning 45 delivers 2 absolute crackers. "She's always there" is horn and drum laden up-tempo dancer, "Lets make it last" is in a more cultured crossover style, not too dissimilar to the Volumes - Am I losing you - Karen BUT a tad faster. Some speculation its the Parliaments, you can understand why, it has all the hallmarks, George Clinton, Solid Hitbound.............. and CLASS.
