  1. Lou, go with your gut feeling and keep well away from him. Bought a few bits from him years ago, nothing was ever very good quality, then one had a scratch at the beginning and jumped.....never got a refund and gave up as only a 20 dollar record. He's just no good in after sales department.....
  2. Of course, it is a full moon tomorrow, which explains a lot.....
  3. Sorry mods but I just wanted to keep this in peoples minds..... so bump....

  6. A friend has "mislayed" some records. I suggested posting on here as it reaches a vast amount of people. He would really appreciate it if everyone could keep a look out for any of these and if they turn up, please let me know. Tommy Navarro - I Cried My Life Away - De Jac pale blue - 2 'X's in red felt pen on 'A' side near title Bobbie Smith - Walk on into my heart - American Arts white and red demo - oblong sticker residue on label at about 2 o'clock JJ Daniels - Mr Lonesome - Sure Shot Demo mint. The first two are easily recognisable by their marks on the lables. Thanks in advance for your help, Sian.

  9. We also call him Lil but that's another story.... But as he's looking in at the moment, I'd better be good....he might pop down to Dublin at the weekend and slap my legs....
  10. I was thinking the "spinny boy" is very good too but then he's got 20 years more energy than most of us.....
  11. Have you had many more odd requests for numbers?.... One of my mates wanted 00 soul, my eldest son wanted 69....couldn't work out why.... I got number 1, the other half wanted 7, he's lucky enough having me..... Originally we thought if we had a problem getting an all-niter licence, then we could say we were a members only club. Now we're up to nearly 400, a little bit of fun, nostalgia and a way of keeping in touch for e-mails and post-outs....
