    If ebay is anything to go by many (far from all, but many) prices have dropped as much as 50% or more in less than a year.

    well i got 300 for my johnny howard on ebay,,after reducing twice on here to 275!!

    but no takers and sarky comments!

    Mark did a record called 'Gonna love you stronger baby' ever come out on Casino Classics?  Reason I ask, I've got what looks like a proper audiodisc acetate of it here with a soul ballad called Something Blew My Mind.  One side is credited to Reflections.  I always thought it was a UK tailor made but now I'm not sure

    yes it did mate as the reflections ,,came out on CC12 playthings on the A side ,brad stevens and this on the b side,,i think as im not at home at the moment.

    nice tune for wigan 79!!

    Yeah thats the Lable Not sure about the name of the tune will have a look when i get home, Baby please does ring a bell  :thumbsup:

    had a great nite last week,,slow start but filled up later in the evening,,small venue but just right people in...

    was told to play what i wanted with accent on stuff you dont hear generally so i did and had a ball playing somethings i never would get chance to do and people still danced!!!

    bob lee who runs this do and the counting house before is a cracking guy who deserves alot a praise ,,i hope this venue get some great support at future nights

    here goes my spot as always a mixture of forgotten 60's and 70's oldies on originals unless stated

    Funny, I've usually seen it on the issue, but then i dont actually look out for it.

    Does any one elses copy have a pressing fault?? where near the beginning she sounds like shes 'drawling' one of the words (cant remember which one). I know mines not the only copy to do this becuase i've heard someone play it and it does exactly the same thing in the same place  :thumbsup:

    i had an issue but sold it and bought a demo of it as all my mgm tunes are demos..

    cant remember it having a fault however..

    really tiny girl who used to go niters right thru the 80's and always wore a circle skirt

    not seen her for years and i had heard she had passed away

    she used to go wigan tiffs ,,warrington and all the major allniters up there

    Cleethorpes everytime, these are the venues I was brought up on, the pier and the winter gardens.

    Used to swear that everytime a stomper was played on the pier, that floor would go through and we would end up in the sea....

    Force ten gale blowing as we walked down to the hall, with a full circle skirt on was rather refreshing........

    Mary Chapman, Chris Dalton, Rick Scott, Rick Todd.......

    I can remember Soul Sam "breaking" Casanova by coffee at the gardens in the early 8ts and a few weeks later it was in the charts.
