Hi everyone, we’ve been informed that Burscough British Legion is to be permanently closed immediately and all our planned events are now cancelled. We would like to thanks everyone who has supported us over the last 15+ years and all the DJs and record collectors who have guested for us over the years. We think we’ve done remarkably well lasting for 15 years as a little club out in the sticks and with a music policy of rarer and underplayed sounds all on original vinyl. We’ll miss the Legion Soul nights and all the many and varied characters who have attended over the years, many who have become close friends. We’ve had some fantastic nights of great music and good laughs along the way, cheers everyone. We will be starting a new venue up later in the year and we would love to see a lot of familiar faces from Burscough Legion attending, in the meantime we hope to see everyone out and about. Many thanks to everyone who came to the Sink Club on Sunday, another fantastic day and really busy with people travelling from all over the UK and beyond! 😎 Quite a few first timers in attendance and everyone seemed to love it, we’ve had some great feedback off a lot of people 🤙 Next one at the Sink Club is on Sunday 19th June, down in the basement of Heebie Jeebies once again—hope you can make it 😁

We have booked local collector Brian Latham to start the night off for us, Brian will be doing the first hour which we are really looking forward to as he has a superb collection. 🤙

The next Sink Rhythm & Soul Club takes place on Easter Sunday 17th April, 3pm till 9pm down in the basement of Heebie Jeebies, 80–82 Seel Street, Liverpool. Always a busy event—a top afternoon of 60s Soul, Rhythm & Blues, British Beat, Motown, 60s Jamaican sounds, Northern Soul and much more….. Hope you can make it 😎🤙
