  1. The general theme of the ad is fairly good in me opinion , the enthusiasm for the music and dancing comes through but why as many others have said does the stupid fashion sense of the 70s have to take the leading role giving the impression that everyone who likes NS dresses like this.

  2. I wouldn't go as far saying she's attractive. Personally, I think she's got a face like melted Lego.

Not a bad voice though.  :hatsoff2:

Her sing ain't too bad in a karaoke sort of way.

She's cute to my eyes but if you are scoring with better looking females than her more power to ya

  3. Is it the original ,it don't sound quite right to me ?

    Bazza   :hatsoff2:

Maybe it is not the original , aren't a lot of these tv ads sound tracks re-recorded to sound like the original which cannot be used for licencing/ budget reasons that was the reason Marvins   I heard It Through The Grapevine was not the original used in the famous Levis ad.

  4. Very sorry, must be on the wrong site, thought it was called soulsource. Could go on all night about dance music with an influence. I remember dave evison playing' heatache avenue' by whoever it was at wigan. awefull. Just dont think this site is the correct place for music like that.

Someones uploaded a Tony Christie video on here what do you think of that :(

What is silly is thinking anyone would go to the trouble of trying to produce counterfeits of really rare records and try to pass them off as the real thing, people have too much knowledge now to fall for those scams anymore.

If you are going to make boots and the like just do what has been done since the early 70s and beyond, make them to supply the demand that is already there , theres no need to fool anyone it is still a lucrative market just look on ebay loads of the stuff and just like counterfeit clothes ,etc. people buy it because its cheap or they do not know any better.

  6. Same group according to the story here https://www.classicurbanharmony.net/Del%20Larks%20Story%20edit.pdf

     While the Del

Larks recalled the song, they were not aware it ever

came out. It’s possible the Del Larks’ song, which

they didn’t write, was shopped to Dobie Gray a few

years later and changed into “The In Crowd.”

    .

If that is the true story behind the record at least some good came out of it . Usually love the Big City Beat Ballads but the vocals on this are shocking in my opinion.
