What an amazing venue and great dancefloor

How could I omit to mention Mike, as you say consummate professional and man with a great diverse collection.

Missed the last event, the anniversary so despite an MOT fail and having to let down and my usual companions I managed to scrounge a lift, from some wonderful people, and attend on Saturday. What can I say other than the demise of the scene ain't what it was! Strange to see some old clips of keele recently from those halcyon days of the late 80's and see just about the same numbers on the dancefloor as Saturday 😀 Like the 80's the nighter offers a massively diverse selection of music the encompasses the gamont of Northern soul. Highlights musically for me; Chris louca who pushed the boundaries whilst keeping the floor busy throughout with some cutting edge northern mod😉 Stuart Raith- Prestons finest Cyberman played some killer unreleased soul and funk that just has to be heard! Andy Burns really impressed me and got me to the floor again and again with a blistering set of up tempo modern. Al mason being a particular favorite. And finally John Weston who proved yet again he remains at the very top his game with a progressive set of up tempo delights. Next installment- you need to be there! Support or it will die and you'll be part of the problem, this is a labour of love, it's proper, not a money making racket run by parasites living off past glory. Get yourself to these venues that need support.

Really looking forward to playing in my home town in this amazing venue.

Simply one of the best all nighters our there, always offers something diverse and different and then that dancefloor, just a pleasure to glide on. 😁
