Where To Buy Carton Record Mailers In The Uk ?
A lot of European sellers use those. Once they're taped up I find them very hard to open without tearing the tab, so not sure I've ever been able to re-use one. For a single 45 or LP the envelope type are ok with 3 good stiffeners (and taped up - had a few sent without tape and arrive open) re: soundswholesale - bought some 7" stiffeners and cruciform mailers from him recently - the stiffeners are ok, not the best but perfectly fine (guess the cardboard quality varies), but the cruciform mailers are awful, really flimsy.

Yes, there's a few of these 70s Studio One releases with a ska track on the b-side, another good one is The Skatalites Coconut Rock (aka Passing Through) paired with a Pablove Black track

Johnny Watson - I Say I Love You - King
There's two versions - one with false ending, one without. Can't remember if the difference is simply between promo and issue or not.

Ska - Toots And The Maytals - Brioadway Jungle

- Dean Jones - Women (Ska-Da-La-De-Da), Lillian Briggs - I'm Burning For You
have got a Lillian Briggs i might part with - no idea what it goes for though?- Big Mama Thorton
1 - overpriced 2 - later (60s) issue 3 - bootleg- The Turbans
how badly do you want it? Moerer has one for $65- Melvin Davis " Won't Be Your Fool Anymore" Fortune
Playboy on the A-side is good too. great ska-sounding drums on both sides- Whats The Best Way To Clean Up A Scruffy 45 As Best You Can?
a good soak in clean warm water (i use an upturned shot glass as a middle to keep the disc off the bottom), then a thorough clean with Fairy liquid and a soft small paintbrush, thoroughly rinsed, then dried and left out for a few hours to dry completely. playing to remove dust is a bad idea - the dust will get melted into the vinyl as the stylus passes over it - Dean Jones - Women (Ska-Da-La-De-Da), Lillian Briggs - I'm Burning For You
