When Roger & I started our Sunday Soul Sessions, the concept was to give DJs/collectors who don't have a residency an opportunity to share there tracks in a friendly environment all on vinyl. Since then the afternoons have gone from strength to strength with some excellent sets being put together. If you have a collection & want to share your tracks come down & introduce yourself & see if you would like to get involved. Remember everyone is welcome.

Last month was brilliant, a big thanks to everyone who turned up to make what was a truely a great afternoon. This Sunday we have the opportunity to do it all again. We have three great guests for you. Making his debut at Castle all the way from Wigan is Russell Gibbs, let's give him a warm welcome. Sunday Soul Session regulars, Allan Eves & Paul Bramhall will be spinning there tunes to keep us entertained & dancing. With Eddie Worthington & myself filling in it's got the makings of another great afternoon. Remember everyone is welcome.

The venue to be at this Saturday. Last month was brilliant, great crowd & great tunes. Our main guest this month Is Stevie Hay, no stranger to The Rec & one of the busiest Soul DJs around, with giggs around Manchester & up the North Wales coast. Brian Smart making his Rec debut is our early guest, let's give both guests a warm welcome as always. Filling in tonight will be Rec residents Chris, Eddie & myself. Let's make it another night to remember, it just wouldn't be the same without you.

Not been to this great little club for a while, so looking forward it. If you've never been before, try it, you won't be disappointed. Always a friendly welcome, cheap beer, great music & fantastic dancefloor.

This month we again have some great guests to entertain you. Father & son David & Stewart Fairclough from Colwyn Bay. Both have played for us before & done great sets, today we welcome them back. Stevie Hay has played for us, here & The Rec & always gone down well. Filling in will be Eddie Worthington & myself. We hope you can join us for what's sure to be another great afternoon. Seems like it was only yesterday, our 11th Anniversary. A brilliant night, hope everyone enjoyed there Anniversary CD. This month we do it again. Our main guest this month Rec regular Gregg Osbourne. Gregg has a great collection & is sure to play his best tracks. Early doors guest is Richard Ford, Richard has played a few times for us at our Sunday Sessions & has always gone down well tonight is his debut at The Rec, so please give him a warm welcome. Tonight's main guest needs very little introduction ex Casino, Mr Ms resident Rod Looker. Now promoter of The Services Club Widnes. If you ever get the opportunity to go, please go. Great guests every month, nice dancefloor & a friendly crowd. Our early guest Nigel Astles, best known for his Charity Alldayers in Crewe & always a supporter of Cheshire Soul Clubs Charity Nights. Residents filling in the gaps tonight will be, Chris, Eddie & myself. It's got the makings of another great night.

This month sees our 11th Anniversary at The Rec, we must be doing something right. To commerate this milestone & a big thankyou, to all that have supported our Soul Night, at The Rec over the years we have 30 Anniversary CDs to hand out on the door tonight. Enjoy, let us know which tracks on the CD you like. Each resident has picked 5 tunes. Regulars should be able to work out who picked which tunes.
