  1. Seeing as I didn't sell many records from that gigantic list I did, I thought I'd stick them on ebay as buy it now job lots. There's just over 100 records in each lot and they are £125 per job lot. If anyone off here wants them, I'll take them off ebay and sell privately if you'd prefer. https://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZmayfair...1QQfsooZ1QQrdZ0
  2. The best way is to ask on Soul Source then knock 30% off.
  3. There's a UK cover version of A Friend Of Mine, I used to have it but can't quite remember who it was. Might have been Valerie Masters on Polydor.
  4. Does anyone else think it's worth that much???

They must be - after all, the acetate predates the demo. Funny market though, you would probably only get the same as you'd get for a demo. I've got here an advision acetate of otis redding - can't turn you loose, no interest when I mentioned it...
  6. There's a very long gap inbetween the two Si, strange comparison - No-one There is crossover really. I distinctly remember hearing this on the radio once when I was on a family holiday in Wales, funny how it became 'rare'
  7. Thanks a lot Mick. I can't believe I never knew about it. Must go out more.
  8. Sold mine over 10 years ago and not had one since...saw a few...just didn't buy them for some reason. Might have put it on cd though so I'll check.
  9. Right, £100 it is then!

14 people reading this topic, nobody posting on it! Can't you involve the BPI in this, or are they just not interested unless it's The Beatles or Elton John?
  11. How much should I ask for a near mint copy of this on UK Tamla Motown?? 80 quid??

No what I meant is - despite whatever they have done, or do - when you join, there's no list of credentials that you have to have and no list of exceptions as to why you won't be allowed to join. That's why you couldn't just ban that guy, it would be the thin end of the wedge. Next you'd have to ban the people who bought them off him and so on. I'm amazed that some of the record companies of the titles booted haven't been able to frighten him though.

That's like saying why are blonde haired people allowed to be members of soul source...

  17. Probably my only bona fide discovery great record, actually by Jackie (Rupert The Bear) Lee. £25 or so.

yes but they have been seen in boxes at various venues for up to £80!

As I have only sold one of these I realise that I'm obviously doing something wrong, so in line with other sellers they are now double the original price I was selling them for and are now £30 each.
  20. Blimey, you're joking! Have you got one Mick?
  21. I think you probably need to investigate the surname. It is something like Sharae but it doesn't have a hyphen like Sha-rae. I've seen it on a record label.
  22. Don't tell Simon White, he'll start calling you names
  23. Pete S replied to Keithw's post in a topic in Record Sales
No, we all do it - but I hadn't even posted the record and he was going on like he'd got it in his hands

No I don't understand that either mate. Happens all the time, especially in auctions.
