Thanks for that and to the others who PM'd me, forgot to say 'stop' yesterday
  4. Come on Dave, it's a dirge...they sound half asleep and the song never gets out of first gear, in fact I'm amazed it was played as a Northern record as it's got no discernable beat to speak of. Armchair and slippers music.
  5. Good, less chance of us hearing that terrible racket then
  6. There's a guy sells on Ebay who has all these beach records on A La Carte and the like - he'd know. And I don't mean Lil Peddlar...this guy was in one of the groups, sorry this is so vague but I forgot the name!

I mentioned this about 18 months back but I've found several copies of Mason Williams in collections, the oldest being that of a guy who used to dj at the Chateau Impney near Droitwich back in 1969-70 and he told me that it did used to be played at that time. Maybe it charted several months after release?
  12. This is the Bill Medley - I Can't Make It Alone - MGM, as mentioned above
  13. Oh shit, I put a job lot of 70 records on before I put the separate singles on, I must have forgot to change the postage! Thanks for letting me know

I would have shot the Carstairs before they had the chance to record It Really Hurts Me

I wouldn't have even played it mate, my deck won't play seventies records, I'd have just sold it (for a bargain price of course)
  22. 1) It is 20.57 and I have just logged onto the site, how am I supposed to reply when I'm not at the computer? 2) Your obsession with getting a reply out of me is now bordering on the perverted so I suggest you either PM me if you want to continue this, I already said Paul Mckay had every right to complain about the person in question, you don't have any right, so stop being such a boring bastard and get a life instead of trying to make yourself look clever on a forum.
