Oh, I also slowed down the vocals on Freddie Chavez - They'll never know why, now he sounds black!

Er..it's me...I just speeded the vocals up on the original and left the backing track the correct speed...I'm tatting about on a new pc program I got...still trying to make a woman sound like a man, I got Gladys Knight to sound just like Levi Stubbs but the backing singers sounded like they were singing at 33rpm

    not too bad
  10. This is doing my head in. I make the mp3, I convert to ra, then try to send that up, says not acceptable, so change the name to .rm, says that is not acceptable, so change it to wav, and so on...

Sadly they no longer exist, my girlfriend threw them down the tip after I told her I was going to put them on Ebay as 'death row memorabilia'

Any way of expanding on that idea do you think. Like if we had say 3 or 4 hours I wouldn't expect everyone to put up with my stuff all that time, it wouldn't be like that!

This is actually a full length track, not sure why only 30 seconds came up

Well I was hoping to have a kind of chill out saturday, thats why I mentioned about having a little space to play some rocksteady stuff, I can bring some decks and an amp and that but the chalet I'm in is metered so that probably wouldn't be the best idea.

  19. Basically what it is, it's the original version by Bobby Treetop, I speeded the vocal up but kept the backing track at the same speed as the oriignal...this can bring about some really interesting results, if nobody minds I'll send a few up, this isn't a serious attempt to make new versions or anything it's just a laugh....done a nice midtempo version of Rita & The Tiaras, a slowed down version of She Tried To Kiss Me and a few more
  20. This is weird, it won't let me attach it to a PM for you and there doesn't seem to be an option to add it to an email via the site Mike...
  21. I converted it to an RM file, it's pretty tiny really - the mp3 is 12.9mb, any idea how I get it smaller? Converting it to real audio changed it to 2.1mb but it says I can't upload that sort of file???
  22. Bloody useless technology Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload a file with that file extension.
  23. Classic oldie... hmm once again the attachment hasn't turned up...hang on a bit

Kev, Goldmine Soul Supply released both the second and fourth track on cd! I've got a half decent copy of the first one in case you don't get it elsewhere. I've also got a different take of the Chris Bartley. What a boring, dull track that is!
