  1. In the interests of peace and love, why not co-promote one venue and get 159 people in???

Sorry I wasn't actually aiming that at YOU personally, just at people who keep making underhand comments but won't name names and leave it all very ambiguous. And that leads to people thinking you're talking about the wrong guys. For instance, anyone coming new to this would think that this topic is about Kev Roberts. Yet he also makes ambiguous statements about 'followers' and hints at certain promoters. All as bad as each other. That Chris Waterman seems nice though.
  4. "How Dare You"!!!
  5. Yes they are :graynone:
  6. Well it might be a well known fact to you but I've never heard anyone else even suggest it, there must have been two different groups

Nobody forces anyone to go anywhere. If they're making money then good luck to them, we all have to eat. You lot don't half take this stuff seriously don't you, yet you're scared to name names, if you've got something to say about someone why not say it instead of implying things all the time?
  8. F*cking brilliant. I posted a sound file of that up here, they all hated it
  9. Get away!? Had that several times but I didn't know it wasn't The Duprees. Don't like it though...Intruders is better

It's outrageous to charge that sort of money from pressings, I have trouble shifting them at £5-£6 apiece, how does he do it?? Having said that, someone offered me £100 for my Miki Farrow pressing the other day - and I refused!!!
  11. I think he was joking

  19. It was always played during Russ's first spot which would have been 12.30 to 2am I think, having said that I only ever heard it there maybe 3 times so it was dropped pretty rapidly...think I have it on tape from one night there
  20. Now that really is spooky! What are the chances...
  21. I'll answer that. I did over 30 for myself to play at home, mainly records I used to have but sold on. I know someone who has over 60 and has sold his originals and replaced them with the copies.
  22. I never heard of it myself...the Jenny & The Jewels was a legit recording for Hit records, the US equivalent of the Top Of The Pops lp's though..
  23. I've got the entire album
