BOB & FRED - I'LL BE ON MY WAY / INSTRUMENTAL - BIG MACK 6101. Absolutely brilliant and still as rare as hen's teeth - this copy is the proverbial VG to VG+ 'great for dj-ing'. It plays fine with the odd click here and there and some crackle, but you can hear all of this in the sound file which is taken from the record. Will enclose a photo of the label also. With this booking at between 1500 and 2000 for a minter, I'm asking 700 for this one. cheers Pete

I do know where you're coming from. I've been to, what, five weekenders, and never watched a single artist...but watching it at home is different, I collect all kinds of tv appearances, documentaries etc, so this is right up my street

Anyone who has got the set; watch the Bobby Hebb clip "Love Love Love" - it's a great song and an enjoyable performance but then try and imagine it without the vocal and with the piano more to the fore - you would have one of the best Northern instrumentals ever, seriously.

I would have liked to have written more Ian but I just haven't had chance. Anyway, I want to watch the lot before doing an in-depth one. Funny, remember what happened when I reviewed it first time around (SWONS), I've done a 100% swing to the opposite viewpoint since then. It takes time to appreciate something I guess and while I can understand people criticising you yourself, because I'm sure you'll admit you can be a pain in the neck sometimes, I can not understand anyone criticising any part of this project and I will defend it to the hilt if needs be. I can't be like James and not show any deference to these artists. This is, and always has been, the greatest music ever made and no version of the Emperors New Clothes is ever going to deflect from that, good as it may be.

Demo should be round about the same price, the Levi Jackson issue is the hardest of the lot, if there is an issue. £197 should get you two copies

Actually, I forgot, I do have one criticism of the package, it's a minor one but it's annoying. When each track starts, I would have liked a caption to come up telling us who the artists are. That's all.
