  1. Go on Diddy - yopu know you want to. What's the Star Wars connection....?
  2. Go on Diddy - you know you want to. What's the Star Wars connection....?
  3. Yes. The Beadle lookalike and one of the others was in a band called One Way. Clearly not the funky soul band though. I'm also aware that I said "not 70s" and I think you've (nearly) all jumped to conclusions....
  4. ABC? I thought they were the same group? Not Reflections any case.
  5. California. I could be even more precise.... ..and if you're still paying attention Diddy: Yes It's a cover. Thought that would make it too easy!
  6. EMI is a label clever clogs. However it's just the label of a band with the same name as an earler variation of the band in question. As such it's virtually useless info...
  7. I remember the tune! Just didn't know who it was. Excellent! However you lose five points for deviation. Bit like Mr Barry come to think of it...
  8. Not Oriole or Stateside. It was EMI...
  9. So - Here's the info we have and a bit of new stuff: From California. White. Song has a Motown connection. Were a band that split and reformed as a due around 1986. Other records on the same label (three in total). There's a Star Wars copnnection. Had a name which was also name of a crap record played by Russ W on a VERY British label. Used to have another name which was also shared by one of Al Hudson's bands... Only 40 mins left!
  10. Yes! and no to Valiadiers and ? and the Mysterians. Especially the latter as they had hits and were from Michigan
  11. Nope. Don't know who they are anyway, I'm embarrassed to say.
  12. Yes they are American Scousers you big numpty
  13. Crikey Ted - another I've never seen a picture of. Why not try to find out where they are from guys...?
  14. I've read all about your type, Mr Barry.
  15. No - that's not the Motown connection Tabs.
  16. Go and stand outside the head's office Cook! And when he asks you why you're there, tell him you're a tw@t!
  17. Never seen a pic Gary! Also in my biased opinion this record is even worse than Main Change. Here's a crap clue: One of the main guys was also in band that shares its name with a band who had a rubbish single on a very British label that was played by Russ Winstanly at Wigan!
  18. I think you'll be doing cross country in your underwear Mr Barry.
