OK. Her Northern tune was from the time of the photo - around 1967/8. Her big hit was in 1978. I know I've said she was a solo artist but I also said there was a connection with a band. that applies to the hit and it's a strong connection.

Well she only really had one hit in the UK and US. Other tunes may have scraped the bottom end of the charts. It's possible that she had the off chart success in other countries so I wouldn't rule it out. Won't help though - it's her big hit that's significant and would probably give the game away.
