    I've played When You Lose Your Groove for years but not really at soul gigs - its always been a cult London rare groover and still packs the the dancefloor - the flip is pretty average IMVFHO.

    Welcome along to my new Soul Sales list of 45s, 12" & LPs. I Hope you find something you like.

    You are welcome to collect any items ordered from me in person at gigs in the near future including A New Chapter & MonuMENTAL Soul. Just let me know where your gonna be and i'll bring your order along.

    Onto some info on some gigs i'm gonna be at & DJing in the very near future.

    The next 'NEW CHAPTER' is coming up on this Wednesday night, the 14th Sept. We welcome along this time 'Soul In The City's' Paul McKay. He's as much at home playing quality 70s/80s and crossover soul as he is spinning rare 60s - so a great mix of sounds expected from him. We take over the upstairs of The 145 Bar (formerly Night Moves), 145 Shoreditch High St E1 and are pleased to say we are making this our NEW CHAPTER home - and very comfy it is too !!!!. We are now back regular, every 2nd Wednesday of the month and its the usual FREE ENTRY with your regular DJ team of Mark Houghton, Stevie Cee & Girth Devon.

    After a short break over the summer, watch out for the return of MONUMENTAL SOUL on Saturday Sept 24th. Your usual residents Niki Golding, Mole & Girth Devon are joined by the king of the soul cruises MICK FARRER - you can expect the unexpected !!!! Same place same time as usual, but for those few who haven't ventured down before its at The Britannia, Monument St, London EC3 - Monument tube is a stones throw away and plenty of free parking right nearby. We are there from 8.30 til 2am playing a quality mix of classic modern soul from the 70s & 80s with a smattering of rare 60s & new releases. For more info give me a call or drop me a mail.     Maybe his greatest record for the dancefloor is "Listen Love" from "Mind's Eye", but it would have to be a broad-minded soul club that accepted it. On the jazz and funk scenes it's a stone classic.

    Some thieving bastard has hacked into my ebay account and tried to sell some mobile phones on my ID. Somehow ebay realised it was`nt the real me and suspended my account. They sent me a mail saying I will get a mail telling me how to reactivate my account but nothing has appeared yet.......

      I`ve had dealings with ebay before and I find them difficult to get hold of. Does anyone have a contact email address, or even a phone number I could try to actually speak to somebody about this problem?

    Yes it was atlantic. Seems yhey released it in every country imaginable. Came out on a 7" in USA, UK, Jamacia, a couple of places in Europe and i seem to remember seeing an Aussie copy recently. Think i saw a copy for sale on soul source recently for 20 quid but fetching up to a ton due to current demand.

    Also available on an expansion cd, soul chasers volume 2.

    Worth picking up a copy with the flip side too "Save The Love At Any Cost" - on any issue other than a US demo I think - its bloody great. Better than "Fragile" IMVFHO
